Field Guide to Child Welfare

20090911_180617The Institute for Human Services recently completed a two-year project to translate the Field Guide to Child Welfare, our four-volume child welfare resource textbook, into Russian.  This four-volume publication is now available in Ukraine from the International Leadership and Development Center.

Co-authored by IHS Directors Judith S. Rycus and Ronald C. Hughes, the Field Guide covers the fundamental and essential competencies for child welfare practice.  The book was published in English by the Child Welfare League of America, and was later translated into French for use in Canada’s bilingual provinces.
